Our Backup Process
We provide a comprehensive backup, site archiving, website recovery/restoration and off site backup for your website. We completely copy your current website, save it in a CD or DVD and provide safe storeage for all elements of your site website.
We'll backup your:
- Web pages
- Templates
- Images/Graphics
- Audio files
- Databases
- Multimedia
- Configuration files
- PDF files and/or Documents
- Scripts
- Archives.....Etc.
Confidtech keeps a backup copy of the finished version of your website for 1 year. At the end of 1 year, if no updates have occurred and you have not signed up for one of our maintenance plans, Confidtech, is under no obligation to store a copy of your website.
If your website crashes and your site is being maintained by a webmaster, other than Confidtech’s, and you do not have a backup of the current website at the time of the crash, Confidtech will restore your website back to the original version of your site that was designed by Confidtech. The charge for this service is $150.00. This procedure only applies to websites that were originally designed by Confidtech, but are not under a current maintenance contract with Confidtech.
Confidtech keeps 3 copies of the latest website currently on the Internet for website design customers and maintenance plan customers.
- A copy of your website that is “live” on the Internet
- A copy of your website that is sitting on Confidtech's computer
- A copy of your website that isbacked up weekly on CD or DVD
